The Vancouver Giants have signed Delta Hockey Academy student-athlete Oliver Bryks to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Bryks has spent three seasons in the CSSHL, spread out between OHA Edmonton, Northern Alberta Xtreme and Delta. He joined OHA Edmonton for the 2022/23 U15 season, posting 1 shutout and a 3-7-0 record with a 3.79 GAA and .897 SV%.
The following U15 Prep season with NAX he would go 11-2-0 with 1 shutout and a division best .925 SV%, 2.29 GAA. He would play two playoff games to help NAX capture the 2024 CSSHL U15 Prep Western Championship to go along with his individual awards of CSSHL U15 Prep Top Goaltender and CSSHL U15 Prep (Prairie Division) Second Team All-Star. At the conclusion of the season the Giants would select the Edmonton, AB netminder in the 12th round, 253rd overall at the 2024 WHL Draft.
This season in 4 U18 Prep games with Delta, Bryks has went 3-1-0 with a .878 SV% and 3.14 GAA.
